The machine is portable and convenient to use. A big 4,000 mAh battery lasts up to 35 minutes on one charge which is a good number. The Tineco has two water tanks, one for clean and one for dirty water.
Among all models in the lineup, the FLOOR S3 is the most expensive tho is being the most-featured too. A LED display shows the current cleaning mode, remaining battery life, etc. With the help of the dust sensor, the Tineco automatically adjusts water flow and the suction power on dirty areas.

The device in detail
As to smart features, this is the only device on the market that adjusts cleaning power on dirty areas. It also has a self-cleaning feature that flashes clean water on the brushroll after cleaning.
The docking station stores a brushroll, an extra HEPA filter, and the 3-in-1 cleaning tool. The HEPA filter can be switched while the second one is drying out. The tool cuts off clogged hair out of the brushroll and cleans the other parts of the machine.
Inside the machine, there are two tanks, the one for cold and one for dirty water.
The DWT (dirty water tank) has a HEPA filter and the remaining level of water so you know when it's full. The cleaning tool is also made to clean the DWT as it is narrow for a human hand to get inside. The CWT does not have a filter.
The stand does not go in a laydown position which makes cleaning under sofas a bit challenging.
The display is located on the top and it is advanced. I have not seen a washing machine with a display before. It shows how dirty the floor is, the battery level, etc. There are two buttons: the power one and Auto Mode one.
The FLOOR S3 comes with a Tineco's detergent that is safe to use. The machine also can be connected to the app.
The app
This is the only vacuum & mop that can be connected to the app. So what the Tineco app offers:
When opening the app, there is always a message that informs about the vacuum's maintenance. On the main menu you can see the battery level, the clean water tank and dirty water tank status. In case you didn't clean the tanks you can see when to do so in the app. You can also set the vacuum into the auto mode or select water flow and suction power manually. The auto mode is more convenient as you don't have to switch between the settings.
Since it has a voice assistant, you can mute its voice. There is also a self-cleaning option that flashes water to the brushroll to clean it. Occasionally you can do it when it's charging if you feel it's needed.
There is also a cleaning history that shows how often and for how long you have used the vacuum. You can create a routine with Alexa or Google Home.
Since the app is not essential but it is a nice addition to have.
Using
The machine is not made for use on carpet, but it can do light vacuuming jobs just to get a more fresh carpet look.
On hard floors, it is able to remove all kinds of liquid and some stubborn stains. When cleaning is complete and the vacuum is docking, you can turn on the self-cleaning feature and the cleaner will clean itself.
When finishing cleaning, remove the dirty water tank and clean its parts.
To sum up
The Tineco FLOOR One S3 is a great device that cleans itself and has an app where you can track the status of the additional parts, etc. It does the job with the stains and does it very well. This is also the first vacuum & mop device with the app, voice assistance, and compatibility with Alexa/Google Home. And also it is the first model that has a display (except for the IFLOOR 3) and sensor that recognizes dust.
The price tag is not cheap but for the smart features and convenience of using, the Tineco FLOOR One S3 is totally worth it.
