Tineco has been producing home appliances for over 20 years mostly vacuum cleaners. The model line includes wet dry vacuums (including a smart iFLOOR ONE S3), cordless vacuum cleaners, and smart vacuums.
Let's observe each category quickly:
Wet dry vacuums (iFLOOR & iFLOOR 3): cleaners that are designed to mop and do light vacuuming tasks yet don't have smart features.
Smart wet dry vacuums (iFLOOR ONE S3): an upgraded version of the iFLOOR 3 with some smart features and better battery life.
Baseline cordless vacuum cleaners (A10 & A11): decent budget vacuum cleaners for everyday usage.
Smart vacuums series (PURE ONE models): smart and powerful vacuum cleaners for all home sizes, ideal for carpets.
Each series has modifications. For example, the Tineco A10 has three options: Hero, Hero+, and Master (available to buy in two colors). The Tineco A11 also has three modifications: Hero+, Master, and Master+.
PURE ONE Series includes 8 modifications. To not confuse you, let's talk about three main ones: S11, S12, and S12V. S11 includes two models (S11 and S11 PLUS), the same with the S12V. The PURE ONE S12 has 4 modifications which we will talk about later.
PURE ONE Series is the top-line vacuums with smart features, Wi-Fi connection, and great build quiality. Also, these are the most powerful cordless vacuums in the model line.

Let's start with the original most powerful model, the Tineco PURE ONE S12.
Tineco PURE ONE S12
The Tineco PURE ONE S12 is a flagship model of the Tineco vacuum cleaners model line. It has 4 modifications:
- PURE ONE S12 M Lite
- PURE ONE S12 M
- PURE ONE S12
- PURE ONE S12 PLUS
We have already tried to distinguish the four of the Tineco PURE ONE S12 versions so let's explain it in two words.
The PURE ONE S12 M and M Lite lacks some features the original PURE ONE S12 and S12 PLUS have such as a soft roller, suction control, LED display, etc.
The S12 M Lite is the most baseline version. It does not have a smart wi-fi camera and a built-in speaker.
Use the camera to see what's going on on hard-to-detect spots with the Tineco PURE ONE S12 M
The S12 M has all those things but lacks the LED display, suction power control, and none of the "M" Series has a soft roller in the box. Also, the "M" models have smaller batteries that last less compared to the ones the S12 and S12 PLUS are equipped with (2,000 mAh vs, 2,500 mAh). Two of the batteries provide up to 80 (40*2) and 100 (50*2) minutes of runtime.
Compared to the S12, the S12 PLUS has an additional soft roller in the box.
Tineco PURE ONE S12 PLUS is designed to use on both: hard floors and carpets
The PURE ONE S12 models have a good build quality and a nice design. It has a white, silver and black color combination which looks sleek.
Each model is equipped with the main head that agitates dust and dirt, also has LED lights to monitor hard-to-reach places.
The iLoop sensor was firstly built into the S12 Series. It helps to make cleaning more efficient by saving battery life so you don't have to run the vacuum on high settings all the time. For example, the newest Roborock H6 and both Dyson V11 and Dyson V11 have carpet identification. These sensors both adjust suction but for different reasons.
As we said before, the M models don't have an LED screen but the S12 M has a camera and built-in speaker. The camera helps to see what's going on on the shelves that hang too high and the speaker allows listening to music or talking on the phone while you clean.
Adjust suction power the depending on cleaning tasks with the Tineco PURE ONE S12/S12 PLUS
The more advanced S12 and S12 PLUS have a LED display that changes color as the sensors recognize high-traffic areas, shows battery level, etc. Also, these modifications are equipped with a power suction control so you can manually adjust suction depending on the cleaning tasks.
When it comes to suction power, the PURE ONE S12 models have the strongest suction among all Tineco cleaners delivering 150 W of suction on Max mode making it standing eye-to-eye to the latest Dyson V10 and Dyson V11 in terms of cleaning power.
The Pure One S12 is ideal for homes with thin and thick carpets, bare flooring, and pet hair.
Tineco PURE ONE S11
Tineco PURE ONE S11 vs. Tineco A11 what has changed
- Longer battery life
- Smart dust sensing
- Advanced filtration system
- Stronger suction
- LED display
- Wi-Fi and app connection
Let's talk about the design of the PURE ONE S11. The design of the Tineco vacuum cleaners has always been on top with perfect finish colores and overall build quality. It has an amazing sleep transparent body with a nice blue finish. As always in the Tineco vacuums, the main machine is fully washable.
One of the biggest pros of the Tineco products is a detachable battery and the S11 is no exception. The PURE ONE S11 modification has one battery in the box, and the PLUS version comes with two just like its oldest brother, the Tineco A10 Hero and A10 Master. The only difference is that the S11 original is equipped with a 2,500 mAh battery while the PLUS has two batteries with 2,000 mAh capacity.
As always, the company is generous on accessories in the box and even the PURE ONE S11 has a lot coming with the vacuum for ceiling-to-floor cleaning. Each model has:
- Main Cleaning Head with stiff bristles for better agitation;
- Wall Mount Block to keep the unit on-the-go;
- Mini Power Brush for stairs or upholstery cleaning;
- 2-in-1 Dusting Brush that is ideal for some furniture to wipe away dust and dirt;
- Crevice Tool for corners and floor skirting;
- Pre Filter Cleaning Tool that wipes away the dust from the main filter making the vacuum work without interrupting;
- Additional Microfiber Pre Filter for better filtration;
- Hair Cleaning Tool.
The PURE ONE S11 PLUS also has a soft roller that works better on bare flooring and a Flexible Long Crevice Tool that can get some hard-to-reach places to remove dust and dirt.
Lately, Tineco been producing vacuums with a wall mount dock instead of a regular station and the wall-mounted is more convenient to use since you always know where your vacuum is and it is ready to be working any minute. The PURE ONE S11 and PLUS both have the wall mount block.
Each main head has LED lights to track dust and this is what most Dyson users wish to have.
The Tineco PURE ONE S11 PLUS performs the best on carpets and hard floors because of the additional soft roller
Another useful feature is a switch lock. Now you don't have to constantly squeeze the power button as you clean, just lock the button and you are all set.
The PURE ONE S11 is one of the most powerful machines in the business. Compared to its flagship brother, the Tineco PURE ONE S12, it has less power but still enough to provide deep cleaning on carpets. It delivers 130W of suction power. In comparison with some other powerful models such as the Roborock H6 (140W), the Dyson V8, which has 115 W, and the flagship Dyson V10 which delivers 150W of suction, the PURE ONE S11 has lots of power.
The S11 can remove pet hair and provide deep cleaning on carpets making it suitable for all surfaces. In tandem with a 2,000 mAh battery, the cleaner gives you from 10 to 40 minutes of cleaning depending on the cleaning mode, which is impressive considering its power.
If you are already familiar with the company's high-end models, the PURE ONE S12 and its modifications, you might know about the iLoop sensor. It helps to save battery life as it is capable of recognizing dust and dirt and once it has, the vacuum adjusts suction to remove the dust, debris, pollens, hair, and dander. This smart feature is only presented in the PURE ONE Series and none vacuum cleaner in the industry has it. Now instead of running the vacuum on map power all the time or switching between cleaning modes, the Tineco will do so by itself.
One more thing to talk about is the LED display. The S12 and S12 PLUS Series already have it but the S11 screen is more baseline. It lacks battery level, tho gives additional information such as smart sensor malfunction, air channel blocked and also changes colors from red to blue as it senses dust.
The company also didn't forget to add a Wi-Fi connection and integration with the app. Yes, we are living in a century where even a vacuum cleaner needs an app. On your phone, you can monitor real-time performance, see cleaning reports, maintenance reminders, tech support, troubleshooting and more.
Last but not least - the filtration system. As many flagship machines, the PURE ONE S11 has a 4-stage fully sealed HEPA filtration in addition to the self-cleaning tool that keeps the filter clean by wiping dust as the vacuum works.
The Tineco PURE ONE S11 is 100% safe for allergy and asthma sufferers
Tineco S11 vs. Tineco S 11 Plus: what is different
- One vs. 2 batteries in the box. The PLUS has two 2,000 mAh batteries in the box vs. one 2,500 mAh (S11).
- Because of two batteries, the PLUS version lasts twice as long (40 vs. 60 minutes).
- The PLUS modification comes equipped with an additional soft roller and Flexible Long Crevice Tool
Compared to the PURE ONE S11 the PURE ONE S12:
- Has stronger suction power (150W vs. 130W)
- Is equipped with a more advanced LED display that shows more additional information
- Has suction control that allows adjusting suction power depending on light or heavy cleaning tasks
- Slightly quieter (72 dB vs. 71 dB)
Tineco PURE ONE S12V / PURE ONE S12V PLUS
What is new
- Magnetic phone stand to receive real-time cleaning updated;
- Voice assistant gives real-time updates as you clean, including performance status, power level, blockages, and other operational information;
- Alexa voice integration;
- Built-in Speaker to enjoy music, etc;
- NFC gets real-time cleaning guidance from Tineco App.
The design of the PURE ONE S12V is similar to the original PURE ONE S12, the same color mix, cleaning heads, a display, build quality, etc. Both have a wall mount dock that stores two of the additional accessories onboard.
Generally, the S12V Series has about the same accessory kit as the S11. The S12V PLUS modification has the same extra accessories as the S12V original does.
The PURE ONE S12V/S12V PLUS comes with the following accessories in the box:
- Main Cleaning Head
- Mini Power Brush
- 2-in-1 Dustbin Brush
- Crevice Tool
- Pre Filter Cleaning Tool
- Additional Microfiber Pre Filter
- Hair Cleaning Tool
- Wall Mount Dock.
The PURE ONE models have the iLoop sensor to identify dust and dirt providing better cleaning on those spots and also saving battery life. The S12V and S12V PLUS also have this option.
Instead of the LED display, the S12V has NFC and a magnetic phone stand. By attaching your phone to the vacuum, you can get all the information from the app such as real-time cleaning guidance, etc. The S12V also can be connected to Wi-Fi and the Tineco app.
Also, the S12V PLUS has a built-in Bluetooth speaker that allows listening to music, news, podcasts, etc as you clean. Cleaning with music is always more fun, right?
One of the biggest things about the S12V would be its integration with Alexa and it is the first cordless vacuum cleaner that can be connected to Alexa. Now you can ask Alexa for cleaning status, battery levels, reminders and more.
Aside from Alexa, you also will be aware of real-time updates, performance status, battery level, etc with a voice assistant that is only built-in into the S12V PLUS version.
The Tineco PURE ONE S12V PLUS is the only model which has a buil-in voice assistant and is Alexa-integraded
Talking about specifications, the S12V has less power than the S12 original (145W vs. 150W) but still is one of the strongest on the market. Only the Dyson V10 (150W) and Dyson V11 (180W) are more powerful. Do not get confused tho, 145 W of suction is more than enough even for big cleaning cycles.
Equipped with a 2,500 mAh battery, the S12V/PLUS gives up to 50 minutes of runtime per one charge, which is enough to cover a big house. The unit has a 600 ml dustbin, which is on the bigger side of the cordless vacuum world.
The Tineco PURE ONE S12V has a 4-stage fully sealed filtration system that is also HEPA meaning everyone with allergy or asthma can use it.
Not the PURE ONE S12V or S12V PLUS includes a soft roller for hard floors and is more suitable for carpeted surface
Each model comes with the main Multi-Tasker Power Brush that is ideal for both surfaces and has LED lights. Note, the S12V PLUS does not include a soft roller brush.
S12V vs. S12V PLUS
- Built-in speaker (S12V PLUS only)
- Voice Assistant (S12V PLUS only).
Compared to the PURE ONE S12/S12 PLUS, the PURE ONE S12V/S12 PLUS:
- Does not include a soft roller
- Has less power (150W vs. 145W)
- Lacks the LED display that shows battery level and other additional information
- Has a magnetic phone stand and NFC integration allowing you to know real-time cleaning information
- Can be integrated with Alexa
- The S12V PLUS version has a voice assistant and built-in speaker for real-time updates and listening to music
- Louder (71 dB vs 72 dB)
PURE ONE S11 vs. S12V vs. S12
The Tineco PURE ONE S11 would be a good cleaner for average homes with low/medium-pile carpets, pet owners, allergy sufferers. If your home is about hard floors and it's bigger, consider getting the PLUS modification because of the additional soft roller and second battery included.
The Tineco PURE ONE S112V is Alexa-enabled, so if you have Amazon Alexa, you might want to get this model. Since it does not have a soft roller, we would recommend using it on carpets mostly with some hard floor areas. Suitable for low, medium and some high-pile carpets.
If you want the LED display, the most advanced features and performance, have a look at the Tineco PURE ONE S12. If there are lots of hard floors, get the PLUS modifications. This model is the best for big homes covered in all types of carpets; pet hair and allergy sufferers. Perfect for those who want to have it all in one vacuum and not using a traditional cleaner anymore.
