Filtration
The Max purifier has three stages of filtration:
- a pre-filter. It traps the largest particles and can be cleaned by lightly vacuuming;
- v-HEPA filter. Catches up to 98% of pollens and allergens in the air. The seal around the filter ensures that none of the air is able to bypass the filter;
- activated carbon filter. (The carbon filter helps with removing light odors and gases.)
Each filter has a life of 12 months although the pre-filter is recommended to be cleaned (lightly vacuumed) every 2-3 months. To get a replacement filter, you can buy a pack with the needed filters in one convenient box.
Air Quality Monitor
Auto mode allows to keep track of air quality and automatically adjusts fan speed to keep the air fresh and clean. You can see the quality of the air inside in real-time on the built-in monitor.
When to replace the filters?
The display alerts when the filters need to be replaced. Moreover, the v-HEPA filter also changes color as it has a color-coded guide so you always can see when it's time to replace the filter.

In the box, you get a remote controller which allows to: on/off the machine, set auto mode, fan speed, turn into a sleep mode (turning off lights), setting a timer. There is also a child lock.

Filtration
Oransi OV200 has only mechanical filtration. No ionizer or any other electronic filtering device that could potentially create ozone.
Also, it has 3-stage air filtration:

There is a filter replacement/clean indicator that tells when the filter needs to be switched/cleaned.

How the Oransi Finn cleans the air
This model does not have a carbon filter that removes odors. It has a two-steps filtration system:
- Pre Filter. The air first enters the carbon pre-filter, capturing the largest particles, which enhances the durability and performance of the other filters. This filter can also remove light odors.
- High-Efficiency Filter. The v-HEPA air filter captures dust, allergens, and other solid particles. This includes contaminant particles such as pollen, dust mites, and other airborne impurities as small as 0.3 microns. Unique low airflow resistance technology makes the air purifier more powerful and effective.
The Oransi Finn covers up to 400 sqft meters making from 40 to 60 dB of noise depending on fan speed.
The filter lasts up to 2 years. You are always aware when to replace one with the filter replace/clean indicator.
