Filtration system
All LEVOIT purifiers are equipped with a three-level filtration that includes a pre-filter that traps pet fur, hair, and lint; an H13-grade True HEPA filter captures 99. 97% of airborne particles as small as 0. 3 microns such as pet dander, pollen, mold spores, and dust; and a carbon filter that absorbs odors from pets, cooking, and wildfire smoke.
Coverage. Is a LEVOIT purifier good for big rooms?
The manufacturer specifies a size of an area each purifier can cover.
For big rooms: LEVOIT LV-PUR131S, LEVOIT LV-H134, LEVOIT LV-H135
For medium and small rooms: LEVOIT Vital 100, LEVOIT Core P350/300/200S, LEVOIT Vista 200.
Auto Mode & Particulate sensor
Some models are equipped with a particulate sensor that adjusts the fan speed to purify the air. When Auto Mode is on, the purifier automatically adjusts airflow depending on the current air quality.
LED display
The display shows current air quality status, allows setting timer, to select the fan speed etc.
Sleep mode
During sleep mode the purifier almost does not make any noise, the display can be turned off too. It works while you asleep without disturbing you.
Smart home compatibility

LEVOIT LV-PUR131S
There are two modifications, the LV-PUR131 that is not WiFi-enabled and can not be integrated with Alexa or Google home, and the LV-PUR131S that is made for integration with a smart home.
The LV-PUR131S has a higher price tag but other than the Wi-Fi option, there is no difference between the two. If you feel like using the app is more convenient for you, go for the smart home version.
The app allows seeing the current air quality status, start and stop the machine as well as setting a fan speed. In the app, you can also track the remaining filter life.
In 1 hour, the PUR131S cleans a room up to 900 sqft and in 33 minutes it can cover a 500 sqft area. It makes the purifier suitable for large open areas.
At night, you can turn on the Sleep mode that would shut off the display and set the machine to the lowest fan speed.
The purifier has an auto mode and one of a few that is compatible with Alexa and Google Home.
LEVOIT LV-H134
The LV-H134 covers the largest area up to 1,170 sqft in 30 minutes and being able to clean a 710 sqft room in just 18 minutes.
It is the most expensive model in the lineup. It does not have WiFi, nor is compatible with smart home.
Compared to the previous model, this one covers a bigger area, is equipped with a dust sensor that automatically adjusts the fan speed depending on the air quality, has a sleep mode, and the same filtration system.
To know when the filter should be replaced there is a filter change indicator.
This one is heavier and has the highest CADR rating of 312 CFM.
LEVOIT LV-H135
The LV-H135 is also suitable for large areas as it can purify the air in a 795 sqft room in 30 minutes.
It has a wheeled design that makes sliding the machine easier.
It also has a display that can be turned off if needed and supports sleep mode too. With the help of the filter check indicator, you can track when it has to be replaced.
LEVOIT Vital 100
The Vital 100 is suitable for a medium-sized room. It has the same filtration system but covers a smaller area.
It has a compact size which makes it portable with the help of the built-in handle.
It is much cheaper than the previous models but still has a filter indicator, timer and the display can be turned off if needed.
LEVOIT Vista 200
The Vista 200 is one of the cheapest and most barebone models. It covers up to 160 sqft and is suitable for small rooms.
It lacks wifi, and auto mode but has a sleep mode and a filter indicator. The filtration system has three levels, the same as the others.
It is compact and is ideal for personal use.
LEVOIT Core Series
The Core series includes three modifications: the P350 for pets, the 200S for smart home, and 300.
LEVOIT Core 350P
The P350 and 300 have the same room coverage but the P350 for pets costs more. Both have a three-level filtration system that includes a pre-filter, a HEPA filter, and a carbon filter.
The P350 uses the ARC formula. Thanks to the high-grade Modified Activated Carbon and AiReComposition, it removes odors and gases by oriented physical absorption and biological decomposition. This is ideal for those who have pets and/or are sensitive to odors.
The P350 also has a pet lock display that prevents your animals from messing with the purifier's settings.
LEVOIT Core 300
The LEVOIT Core 300 is an old model that however is able to cover a small room and if you are looking for a compact purifier at a low price, this would be a good buy.
The LEVOIT 200S is made for smart home. That means the purifier is WiFi-enabled and can be integrated into your smart home system as it is compatible with Alexa and Google Home. It covers a smaller area than the other two but that only means, the purifier takes longer to purify the same size room.
