Having 330 CADR, the purifier cleans a room up to 1,600 sqft (148 sq. m.) in one hour, about 840 sqft (78 sq. m.) in 30 minutes, and 420 sqft (39 sq. m.) in 15 minutes which means it can purify the air in an average room pretty quickly even if it was bad before.

The machine has a handle that helps to move it to different rooms easily as most purifiers are bulky and not convenient to move.

A panel is made of Tempered Glass which is easy to clean and is scratch-resistant.

Design and features

The purifier has 4 fan speeds (including auto mode), you can also set a timer, night mode which turns off the lights and sets the fan speed to min settings, and also a child lock so they will not change your settings.

When the machine is in sleep mode, which means fan speed is on its lower settings, the ionizer is automatically turned off. It can be turned on on speed 2 and 3 if needed.

On Auto mode, the machine tracks the air quality adjusting the fan speed depending on how bad the air quality is.

The MA-40 consumes 68 Watts.

Filtration

The Medify MA-40 2.0 uses four levels of filtration to catch and remove allergens, pet dander, and more.

This model includes 3 filters:

Pre-filter removes hair, fibers, and large particles like dander.
The high-efficiency H13 TRUE HEPA filter is tested to removed 99.97% of particles down to 0.1 microns. This medical-grade filter easily catches pollen, dust mites, and other tiny airborne particles you can’t see.
Substantial carbon filter with carbon pellets removes toxic odors, smoke, and formaldehyde.

The optional anion generator produces negative ions to charge particles and trap them inside the unit and give your air a fresh feel. It can be turned on/off.

All three filters come in a single cartridge for simplified replacement and reliable air-tight seal.

Filtration system

Medical Grade Filtration H13 True HEPA it`s a 3 Stage Filtration on both sides of the unit. Dual air intake for twice the filtration. H13 True HEPA is considered medical grade air filtration, the unit alone is not a medical device. The three-steps filtration system includes:

Pre-filter removes bigger particles
High-efficiency H13 HEPA filter removes up to 99.97% particles as small as 0.1 microns.
A substantial carbon filter with carbon pellets removes indoor odors.

The filters last up to 3,000 hours.

Area coverage

Great power means the purifiers can clear the air in a big area quicker than most purifiers. The MA-112 covers up to 5,000 sqft (464 sq. m.) in one hour; 2.500 sqft (232 sq. m.) in 30 minutes and 1,250 sqft (116 sq. m.) in 15 minutes and is ideal for big spaces.

Even on low fan speed settings, the machine can easily clean the air in a relatively big room.

Other features

Ionizer can be turned on/off if needed. The air quality sensor senses how good or bad the quality is in real-time and adjusts the fan speed when needed (on Auto mode). You can see it on the panel by a color indicator.

A digital number readout displays the PM2.5 air quality and the numbers update in real-time so you can see how effective the purifier works.
