Let's compare the Dibea D18 and Shark Rocket DuoClean HV382

  • The Shark Ion is corded, you are limited by the length of the cord
  • Both have LED lights
  • Instead of using separate tools for the soft roller and bristled brush, Shark combined it hence the name DuoClean; the Dibea is equipped with a cleaning brush that has softer bristles
  • The HV382 has a new cleaning head that provides “Triple Particle Cleaning” that pulls in large, small and stuck-on particles from both bare floor and carpet
  • Both can be stored on a wall
  • The Shark Ion is suitable for pet hair
  • No HEPA filtration. Not suitable for those who have a respiratory condition like asthma. The Dibea comes with a HEPA filter
  • The Shark is not able to stand on its own because of the top-heavy design
  • The Shark has bigger dustbin than the Dibea
  • The Rocket DuoClean has a longer warranty
  • Price: the Dibea D18 costs half of the Shark price

Which vacuum cleaner to buy?

The Shark Rocket DuoClean HV382 can handle pet hair, is able to deep clean thin and thicker carpets and easily vacuums bare floors. It has a combined brush that is multi-surface instead of using two different brushes for carpet flooring and bare floors. Even though it is corded and limits you by the length of the cord, the Shark has strong suction that is suitable for any floor type. If you cannot afford a Dyson, the Shark Rocket DuoClean HV382 will suit your needs.

What about the Dibea D18? It might not have the strongest suction yet it is ideal for cleaning area messes. It is lightweight, even a kid can use it. The Dibea is budget, a vacuum cleaner you can afford especially if you don't have carpets, only area rugs or bare floors. Consider buying the Dibea as an additional cleaner for your traditional vacuum.
