The Cleaning Mechanics

Shark's famous Multiflex technology, which folds the vacuum when it needs to reach under-furniture areas, is exclusive to the PowerPro Flex. The PowerPro Plus does not flex.

The brushroll system is different, too:

The Shark's DuoClean Detect features a two-roller technology, recognized for achieving the best pick-up score in the industry. One soft roller for hard floors and the second is to get deep into the carpet's dirt. The DuoClean senses direction and catches debris even in reverse. It also adjusts suction on carpet, dirty spots, and along the walls.

The PowerFins is a previous-gen brushroll system.

The DuoClean PowerFins is a two-roller system.

Adjusts suction on carpet

The QuadClean rollers recognize edges, floor types, and debris, and automatically illuminate dark areas. It has a display and a new brushroll system.

Smartly adjusts suction on carpets. Unlike the PowerPro, the Detect Pro doesn't fold.

The cleaner is ideal for hard floors and surface cleaning

Has the smallest accessory kit.

Best value

Unlike the Detect Pro, the PowerPro has Multiflex and is convenient to use under furniture.

With MultiFlex, the cleaner gets hard-to-reach places

Ideal for hard floors.

Also good

The cleaner is suitable for surface cleaning and hard floors. Since it comes with two rollers, it is efficient at picking up debris.

Unlike the IZ682H, this one lacks a display, is less powerful, and comes with one battery in the box.

The best

The most powerful of the four. It lacks auto suction adjustment but comes with an extra battery for longer runtime.

For big homes with carpets

Looks like the best buy of the four.

Which one to buy

Editor's choice: IZ682H Vertex Pro

For big homes, carpets and hard floors. Has three extra tools and lots of power.

Best value: PowerPro Flex Reveal Plus. Adjusts suction on carpets and is lighweight.
