The cordless vacuum lineup seems very much alike except for a few things we are going to talk about down below.

Probably the most important thing aside from suction is the brushroll system, and the four models have different types of rollers. Since all models are entirely sealed and have Multiflex, let's talk about the rollers.

Multiflex technology folds the vacuum which helps to reach areas under furniture and keeps the vacuum compact so it doesn't take up lots of space when is not being used

Shark's DuoClean is a system of two rollers, one for deep carpet cleaning, and the other one is a fluffy one for the best pickup.

The DuoClean PowerFins HairPro is an upgraded version of the PowerFins that has a higher quality hair tangling rate.

The QuadClean is a mix of two rollers made like a bigger one.

The DuoClean Detect is the latest and best Shark roller technology, the premium PowerDetect Lineup has.

Editor's Choice

The DuoCleanDetect technology automatically senses floor type and dirty areas; adjusts suction along the walls and around edges.

While other vacuums can't catch debris in reverse, the PowerDetect accelerates power on a reverse stroke so you don't have to vacuum the same area twice.

Lots of power and intelligent-rich

The vacuum supports an auto-empty station and is powerful enough for deep carpet cleaning.

Shark Stratos IZ862H with Clean Sense IQ

The Stratos is the first cordless cleaner with Odor Neutralizer technology and dirt recognition.

What is Sense IQ?

Automatically adjusts suction level to the mess it detects

The vacuum has more power than the Detect Pro but lacks the smart suction adjustment the cleaner and PowerDetect have.

Shark Vertex Pro Lightweight IZ662H

The Vertex Pro has the same motor as the Stratos but does not auto-adjust suction on dirty areas. Instead, you can switch between floor types manually.

For homes with hard floors and low-pile carpets mostly

The Vertex has the largest dustcup of the four.

Shark IW1111 Detect Pro

The Detect Pro is a PowerDetect at a lower price. The newest QuadClean rollers sense debris and floor types, adjust suction along the walls and auto illuminates lights in darker areas.

The vacuum doesn't flex and doesn't have as much power as the PowerDetect IP1251. The vacuum comes at a lower price tag but has the PowerDetect extras and is not suitable for deep carpet cleaning. It is also the most lightweight of the four.

The cleaner is ideal for hard floors and surface cleaning

Other than that, it is smart, doesn't cost much, and has a modification with a self-empty station.

Which one is the best?

The editor's choice: Shark PowerDetect IP1251

It has the same price tag as the Stratos and Vertex but has more power and is intelligent, the vacuum is better in almost every way.

If you are looking for a lightweight version of the PowerDetect, consider getting the Shark IW1111 Detect Pro which has about the same features but is not suitable for deep carpet cleaning, however, is good for surface cleaning.
