Let's have a quick look at the newest models.

The Dyson V10 is powered by the Dyson digital motor. It generates the suction power of a full-size vacuum. In high power settings, it delivers 150 AW.

Dyson V10

It also has a 760 ml dustbin that is a big one for a cordless machine. The Dyson V10 generates enough power to provide deep cleaning on carpet flooring even on medium power settings. The cleaner is perfect for pet hair.

The built-in battery lasts up to 60 minutes before the vacuum needs to recharge.

The V10 and V11 might be the only cordless vacuum cleaners that provide deep cleaning on all types of carpet flooring even high-pile ones.

The Absolute version comes with two main cleaning heads: soft-roller one for hardwood floor cleaning and the Torque drive cleaner head that agitates dust and dirt from carpets.

The Dyson V11 is equipped with a display that shows estimated battery level and allows switching between three cleaning modes: eco, auto, boost.

Also, it has the same torque drive head inside which you will find a floor detection sensor that boosts up suction power once it identifies carpeted surface.

Even though, the Dyson V10 has one of the most powerful motors in the industry, the V11delivers 185 AW in the boost mode.

Aside from the display, more suction, and floor detection, the Dyson V11 provides longer cleaning even with a motorized brush and makes less noise than the V10.

Other than that, the Dyson V11 has the same design, same dustbin size, charging dock, and filtration system as the Dyson V10. Our Dyson cordless vacuum cleaners comparison chart explains the differences between them all.

When it comes to older versions like the Dyson V6, V7 and V8, there are alternatives on the market that can compete with Dyson. Let's have a look at the best of them.

Since Tineco produces decent cordless vacuum cleaners that can compete even with the latest and most powerful Dyson model V11, they are one of the best in the price range. We have already talked about the difference between all Tineco cleaners and why the oldest Tineco A10 might be one of the best for the price. And, what makes the latest Tineco Pure One S12 one of the best flagship cordless vacuums?

Tineco A10

Tineco A10 alternative to the Dyson V6 and V7

The Tineco A10 offers 2 models: Hero and Master. We have already talked about Tineco vacuum cleaners and what are the differences between the A10 and A11 series vs. Hero and Master. In short - Master models come with extra accessories including a LED-light soft-roller head for hardwood floor cleaning.

The Tineco A10 series comes equipped with a detachable battery (one in the Hero, Master includes two). You can use one battery while the other one is charging. Two batteries provide longer runtime which makes the Tineco A10 suitable for bigger households. One 2,000 mAh battery gives you 25 minutes of runtime in normal mode and 7 - in max mode. The master option gives you twice more time.

The motor delivers 100 AW in a max mode which is enough to provide carpet cleaning, but the Tineco would not deep clean your carpets, keep that in mind.

The A10 is equipped with a 4-stage filtration system including HEPA. It makes the Tineco safe for everyone who suffers from an allergy or asthma.

The main machine's parts are detachable and can be washed. The A10 has a 400 ml dustbin which is a bit small and highly recommended to empty after each use.

Tineco has a power switch-lock to keep the trigger in "on" position as long as you need to.

The vacuum is lightweight, it is only 5.03 lbs. The dual charging powerhouse stores almost all the accessories that come in the box with the cleaner.

There are two cleaning head: one is for carpet cleaning, it has stiff bristles, and the other one is for bare floor. Both have LED lights that help to see dust everywhere. Please note, the Hero version comes with a multitasker power brush (the one for carpet), while the Master has the soft-roller as well. The vacuum comes with a 2-year warranty.

Tineco A11

Tineco A11 Master as an alternative to the Dyson V8

Both of the Tineco A11 Master and Tineco A11 Hero have two 2,500 mAh batteries in the package that provide 30 minutes of runtime in regular mode and 14 min in max mode each.

Same as with the A10 series, the A11 has one or two heads in the box with LED lights. The Hero comes equipped with a carpet-related one, while the Master has two brushes.

The dustbin is bigger, it holds 600 ml of dust and also recommended to empty after each cleaning cycle. The A11 is equipped with a 4-stage HEPA filtration. Unlike Dyson's filters that have to be washed and get dry for about 24 hours before is ready to be used again, the Tineco's filter is easier to clean. All you need is to get rid of the dust using the filter cleaning tool, and the vacuum is ready to go again.

The powerful motor delivers 120 AW in max mode, and it can be compared to the Dyson V8 in terms of cleaning performance especially on carpet.

The vacuum has the dual charging powerhouse that works the same as the one that comes with the A10 series. It holds almost all of the 16 pieces of accessories in one place.

Unlike Dyson's power button that has to be held all the cleaning time, the Tineco has a power switch lock that keeps the trigger in "on" position.
The Tineco A11 comes with a one-year warranty.

Tineco Pure One S12 M

The Tineco Pure One S12 M has also a younger brother - the Tineco Pure One S12 M Lite. There are a few differences between the models such as the Lite version is not equipped with a Wi-Fi camera though it does have a hair cleaning tool.

The Pure One S12 M has a phone holder to entertain you while cleaning, it is also equipped with a Bluetooth speaker allowing you to listen to music, talk on the phone, etc. Both versions have an app that provides all the cleaning details you need. The newest Tineco models have the iLoop Dust Sensor. This sensor recognizes big messes, boosts suction power up to provide better cleaning on those spots.

As the other Tineco cordless vacuum cleaner, this one comes with two detachable batteries that both provide up to 80 minutes of cleaning time. The one battery can be used when the other one is charging. The Tineco is powered by a motor that delivers 150 W in max mode which is equivalent to the Dyson V10 motor. Thanks to the HEPA filtration, the Pure One S12 M is safe for allergy and asthma sufferers. The "M" version has a smart Wi-Fi camera that shows the surface of hard-to-reach places such as high-placed shelves, etc. The Lite version lacks it.

The Tineco Pure One S12 M and Tineco Pure One S12 M Lite are the only alternative to the Dyson V10.

Tineco Pure One S12

Tineco Pure One S12 alternative to the most powerful Dyson V11

The Tineco Pure One S12 has an advanced version - Tineco Pure One S12 Plus. The Differences between them in the additional soft roller brush with LED lights to track dirt and vacuum bare floors. The S12 model is equipped with a LED screen that shows battery level, airpower, etc. Also, the Pure One S12 has a power control, you can switch between Auto and Manual mode where using the manual mode you adjust suction power depending on your needs. This is the thing we haven't seen before.

The Tineco has an app that lets you know about everything that's going on with the cleaner. The iLoop Dust Sensor provides better cleaning performance on dirty zones by recognizing them and boosting suction power.

Two batteries give up to 100 minutes of cleaning time in low power settings and about 20 minutes in max mode. The batteries are detachable, the charging dock stores the vacuum and three additional accessories on a wall. Powered by 150 W motor, the Tineco Pure One S12 is the only alternative to the newest Dyson V11.

Shark ION F80 (IF281)

Shark ION F80 (IF281)

The Shark ION F80 has MultiFLEX technology. It gives the ability to bend the wand to get to hard-to-reach areas easily. Thanks to this feature, you can fold the vacuum over for compact storage while the batteries are charging.

It has 2 detachable batteries that both last up to 80 minutes. Shark mane an innovation with Duo Clean Technology. It has a mix of two cleaning brushes, one is soft roller for bare floors and the other one has bristles to clean carpet.

Shark does not specify this, so we assume, the filter is not HEPA which means the vacuum is not suitable for those who suffer from an allergy or asthma.

The dustbin holds about 300 ml of dust which is one the smallest size. The MultiFlex feature is helpful for getting under furniture

The cleaner has a few options: you can switch between low and high power settings. High power settings have a 1-minute timer which is unusual. You can also switch from carpet to hardwood floor and this option changes the suction and brushroll speed. Low power has enough power to clean thin carpets and pick up stuff on bare floors so you might not need to switch to high power when cleaning carpets daily.

The head has LED lights. Remember, the Shark is not suitable for anyone who suffers from allergy and asthma.

Roidmi F8 Storm

Roidmi F8 Storm the cordless vacuum cleaner with an app

The Roindmi F8 Storm delivers up to 18500 Pa of suction in max mode. The brushless DC motor generates 115 AW in max mode.

The machine comes equipped with a detachable 2,500 mAh battery that gives you up to 55 minutes of runtime in a standard mode and about 10 minutes in high power settings.

The vacuum is equipped with a 4-stage filtration system including HEPA. It makes the F8 Storm perfect for those who suffer from an allergy and asthma.

The vacuum cleaner has two main cleaning heads: the soft-roller for hardwood flooring and the other one has bristles for carpet cleaning. Though the soft roller bar does an excellent job of picking up dirt efficiently on both surfaces.

The head is flexible and adjustable, it helps to reach even the tightest places. Automatic searchlight in the dark by a photosensitive sensor tracks dust in dark places.

Unlike other wall-hanging designs when you have to unscrew the holder to make the vacuum be holding on a wall, the F8 has a magnetic holder.

The coolest part of the Roidmi F8 Storm - its app. The app shows battery level, cleaning time, alert when the dustbin needs to be emptied, and the filter has to be changed. The APP also tells you the calorie consumption index for doing the cleaning.

If you are not ready to spend around $300 on the Roidmi F8 Storm, get the economy version for only $220, it has a bit less power, carries less weight, and lasts up to 40 minutes.
