Video made by Danny Winget

Let's compare two of the best cordless vacuum cleaners: the Tineco PURE ONE S12 PLUS and the Dyson V11 Torque. After using this for two months, there is something to say about each and which is the better value overall.

With the Tineco you get so much more and there are even tools that you don`t even think that you need. You might think it is too much you don't need that many accessories but in the end, you will likely use all of them.

At about the same price, the Dyson gives you quite a few accessories and tools that you need for your everyday cleaning needs.

The Appearance

Both are sleek and modern, they feel good in the hands, the Dyson though is a pound heavier which is noticeable when you are cleaning for some time. Also, the Dyson feels a bit more bottom-heavy.

How loud is the Dyson vs. Tineco?

The Dyson is also louder than the Tineco, kind of sounds like a jackhammer. When the kids are asleep or you don't want to disturb anyone, you would probably go with the Tineco.

The Tineco is quieter than the Dyson

Battery design & for how long can the Dyson and Tineco work

The removable battery of the Tineco is a game-changer because it literally gives you double the battery life plus is easy to remove and maintain. Once the Dyson is done, you have to charge it and wait for it to charge. But with the Tineco you can get the other battery and continue cleaning. At the end of the day when you`re done the cleaning, you pop the battery back on the dock and it automatically charges it for you and it`ll charge that extra battery too.

The Tineco's batteries are removable; the Dyson's is built-in

The Dyson's battery is built-in which means it can't be removed and switched. The Tineco has removable batteries. Both give 100 minutes of cleaning time.

Docking & LED light

With the Dyson, all you get is a power adaptor to stick on the wall. With the Tineco you get a docking station where you can store a couple of your favorite extra tools. One of the favorite things about the Tineco - LED lights. With that feature, you can light up dark places under the furniture and it is also very useful when it's dark.

The Tineco has LED lights to track dirt

Both cleaners have similar docking stations. The Tineco has LED lights to track dirt, the Dyson lacks this feature.

Filtration

Also, let's talk about the filter system. The Dyson comes with a traditional filter system. You pull off the back and pull off the filter that you need to clean it, wash with water, and wait for it to get dry.

The Tineco has an extra tool for auto-cleaning the filter, you don't have to do anything, just place the filter there and it's ready to go. Very convenient! It might be the best design so far.

Both vacuums have a sealed HEPA filtration system and are safe for sensitive to dust people. The Tineco's filter does not require washing which makes it easier to use while the Dyson has a HEPA filter that can be washed with water if needed.

Display

The Dyson comes with an LCD display where you can see the different modes: eco, medium, and boost, and you can see the battery life also that is left while you`re running the vacuum. This countdown timer is an incredible feature, a three-dot indicator is far from that.

The Tineco has a much larger display. You can see battery life here, suction power, and a lot more information. Also, there is filter condition, brush condition or any other type of malfunction you can troubleshoot directly through the display.

If you see colors starting to change that means you are going to have to do a little maintenance. There's also a manual suction control that you wouldn't see in other cordless vacuums.

Tineco and Dyson have a similar display, the Tineco has it bigger though.

Trigger

While you are vacuuming with the Dyson, you have to hold a pull trigger. The Tineco has a trigger lock so you don't have to hold that down anymore.

With the Dyson, your finger might get tired by pressing the power button as you clean. The Tineco has a trigger lock which is more convenient.

Carpet vs. Dust Identification

Both devices have great intelligent auto modes, you only have to turn it on and start cleaning. The Dyson foes from hard surface to a carpet and once it detects carpet it ramps up the suction. The Tineco has a dirt sensor that detects the amount of dirt no matter what type of surface you`re on. It boosts the suction once it detects dirt and when it's done, it goes back to the normal suction to save battery life.

The Dyson V11 boosts suction on carpets; the Tineco maxes out when recognizes dust

The Dyson is a little bit more powerful with its 185 AW on max mode vs. 150 AW the Tineco has. That's not something you would notice on a day-to-day basis though. Also, the Tineco has an app.

The Tineco can be connected to the app. The Dyson boosts suction depending on the surface while the Tineco recognizes dust and then increases power to get better cleaning.

Where to buy

To conclude:

Both are great vacuums but the Tineco feels like better value dues to its tech side and many accessories in the box. You will not be disappointed with the Dyson for sure.

The removable battery, trigger lock, filter clean, the app as well which is pretty cool make the Tineco a bit better for someone, but the Dyson is a bit more powerful for those who need even more suction than the Tineco has.
