The Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV352 has been on the market for about 10 years so far and still receives lots of good reviews. Let's find out what makes this Shark so popular.

The Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV352

The pros:

  • Sealed filtration system
  • Lightweight
  • Versatility
  • Strong suction power

This vacuum nearly has a HEPA filter but what Shark calls Complete Seal technology. The Shark Navigator Lift-Away is the cheapest upright vacuum with a truly good sealed HEPA system.

What is Complete Seal technology?

Basically the mean that keeps over dust in vacuums. That's a very quality for vacuums in general. But it's extremely rare for vacuums in this price range.

How heavy is the Shark Navigator?

The next pros are that it's extremely light at 13 pounds. Maybe it's still is the best design swivels on the floor head and any price range. It's handling its light use better than most competition.

Is the Shark Navigator easy to use?

The other thing that people really like about the NV352 is its versatility. First, because of the brush roll on of switch you can easily transition from hard floors to carpets. The big thing here is the Lift-Away mode. And you can carry around just a super lightweight canister and hose to clean stairs or hard reach places.

Speaking of power that's another one of its pros.

Hose suction, CFM 89 69 79 68 70
Head airflow, CFM 61 65 66 49 51

Mention that it has more power than some of the commercial cleaners.

At well designed the attachment include:

  1. brush tool
  2. upholstery tool
  3. two sizes of a crevice tool
  4. system for a buff floor cleaning

Cleaning tests. How good the Shark on carpets?

The Shark is more powerful than the most upright vacuums regardless of the price. It did respectably well on carpets. It scored a 100% on the carpet deep clean test. It does this good partly because of strong suction and partly because of the brushroll with really stiff bristles that agitate dust and dirt off carpet in a combination with the gear-driven bells.

Basically the Navigator Lift-Away is really good for getting the deep downer and carpets. In terms of pickup ability carpets and hard floors are we also really good fine debris with clean pickup on a carpet and hard floor with no visible debris left behind as the apports and the size of debris tested it's still performed well.

On hard floors some big particles are limited for the brushroll but in the end, you can use the hose to suck them up. One of the best things about the Shark is it's easy to pull out wand. Seems like a small thing but using the hose on some vacuums can be a real timewaster.

Because this model is 10 years old and budget, there are lots of parts available to buy that would not break your budget.

The negative stuff

  • Brushroll design
  • Made of plastic

Although the floor head is well design and can get under a lot of function, the designs were such as it sometimes bumps into objects. The cleaner head is bulky.

Almost all exterior plastic construction can dropback for some. This tho leads to the vacuum being lightweight and not cost as much.

Comparing the NV352 with the Pro and Deluxe

Everything that was being said is also related to the Shark Pro and Deluxe.

Some differences between the Shark Navigator Lift-Away and the Pro and the Deluxe versions there are.

The main differences between the Shark Navigator Lift-Away vs. Pro vs. Deluxe:

  1. Color
  2. Attachment set
  3. Bin size
  4. Cord lengths

But for the most parts, everything was said about the NV352 is true of them as well.

The Shark Navigator Lift-Away is one that is proved by time. It is one of the best budget cordless vacuums out there with great cleaning performance and sealed filtration system. The reason why people still love this and it still gets lots of good reviews is its good quality built and better than average cleaning performance.
