Dyson Animal vs. Animal 2 vs. Animal 2 Total Clean
Those two have the same accessory kit about the same dimensions. The only difference is suction and an accessory kit. The Animal 2 has stronger suction. The Animal 2 Total Clean includes more cleaning tools.
Dyson Multi Floor 2 vs. Multi Floor Origin
The Multi Floor Origin has more suction, a bigger dustbin, and is heavier.
Design
All 5 of these models have middle designs, features, and common. They all use the Dyson Ball design and also they are upright vacuums.

Depending on the floor type, the Dyson vacuums adjust the cleaning head. To deliver high suction power, the Dyson Upright cleaners use a two-tare cyclone system. All of them have an extra-large dustbin (1,600-2000 ml) too.

The Dyson Animal 2 Total Clean is expectedly the most expensive as it has the biggest accessory kit.
Cleaning tests
The Animal 2 and Animal 2 Total Clean have the strongest suction power. In fact, the strongest on the market.
On low carpet, both did well too with the Animal scoring 100% and the Multi Floor 2 having 99% overall. On hard floor, the Animal 2 removed 99%, the Multi Floor 2 scored 95% average on all debris type.
On high-pile carpet both do well with the smaller debris. The Animal 2 tends to push forward larger things like cereals due to strong suction and the head that sits close to the floor.

Maneuverability
For maneuverability, each of the models uses the Dyson Ball design which gives them a high turning radius only the ability to ling back for extended reach. The Ball makes it somewhat difficult to maneuver the Animal under and around furniture. But that extension hose will help with hard-to-reach areas.
Maintenance
To maintain the Dyson vacuums, you have to empty the dustbin after every other cleaning session and wash or at least wipe the dust out of the filter. Let the filter dry for 24 hours, make sure it's completely dry before turning on the vacuum again.
