A cordless cleaner is a convenient way to vacuum your floors. No need to deal with cords or dust bags. Just grab and go and that's why they are becoming so popular. Talking about the best in each lineup.

The BISSELL ICONpet Turbo Edge Vacuum, 3177A has a specific brushroll that resists hair tangles and cleanslide technology that allows reaching corners and edges. LED lights on the head help to track dirt which helps with efficient cleaning. The cleaner comes with a wall mount charging station so can be kept on a wall.

The filtration system is sealed which makes the cleaner safe for everyone.

Shark

The Shark Vertex Pro Powered Lift-Away ICZ362H uses the best cleaning roller system for efficient pick up, two rollers, one soft roller for hard floors and the other one for carpet. Thus you don't have to switch a cleaning roller on carpet. This technology provides the most efficient pickup from the finest to large debris.

The cleaner also has a display that shows additional information about cleaning

The Shark is heavier compared to the BISSELL but the weight is located on the bottom and thanks to lift away, you don't have to carry that weight around so your arm doesn't get tired. The filtration system is sealed which means dust stays inside the vacuum making it safe to use.

Another Shark's pro is a large dustbin. Ideal for homes with a pet.

The difference

The Lift-Away feature makes it much easier to clean above the floor. So the Shark is more convenient to use at this point since all the weight does not tire your arm.

The Shark also has one of the biggest dustbins among other cordless cleaners.

In terms of tangle-free technologies, the BISSELL has a better bruhsroll. The Shark's system is also good but it is designed for picking up the smallest particles on hard floors in the first place, not to be tangle-free even tho it does the job dealing with pet hair too.

Storage: the BISSELL comes with a wall charging station that holds extra accessories. The Shark stands on its own not taking up lots of space which makes it a better choice since there is no charging station or the need of making holes in the wall.

The Shark does have a display the BISSELL lacks.

None of these are suitable for high-pile carpet clean but both can do surface vacuuming.

To sum up

The Shark is a vacuum cleaner suitable for low and medium-pile carpets, ideal for all hard floors, and is one of the best in terms of pickup ability.

The BISSELL is cheaper and is not as good on medium-pile carpets but can be used on thin carpets and hard floor. Both are good at dealing with pet and human hair.

Best for carpet

The BISSELL has a lineup of cleaners made for carpet clean but we are talking about a good and powerful upright vacuum cleaner.

The Shark AZ2002 Vertex DuoClean PowerFins also uses PowerFins technology which is the best in terms of pick up and surface cleaning. The cleaner has LED lights on the head and sealed HEPA filtration.

This is one of the best in the Shark lineup and is the most powerful so is suitable for deep carpet clean. This is also one of the if not best model that resists hair tangles.

The Shark AZ2002 is a relatively affordable vacuum cleaner with all that pick-up ability and power suitable for hard floors and carpet so it's hard to find out the reason of why it can't be a perfect buy for any house.

The BISSELL MultiClean Allergen Lift-OFF Pet Slim is one of the lightweight vacuums in the lineup that is also able to clean carpets. The cleaner is cheaper than the Shark but seems to be a good value. It also has a sealed filtration system and a tangle-free brushroll with the on and off feature.

Convenient to use for above-the-floor cleaning thanks to the lift-off. This might not be the best choice for high-pile carpets but is a good buy for low and medium-pile ones.

The Difference

Compared to the BISSELL, the Shark seems to have more power and a better cleaning brushroll system. Also is better at resisting hair tangles.

Both have a lift-off so are convenient to use for above-the-floor cleaning.

The BISSELL's pro is its price. The cleaner is significantly cheaper and is a good choice for homes with no high-pile carpets.

To sum up

The Shark Vertex is one of if not the best vacuums in the lineup suitable for all kinds of a surface including carpet. It has PowerFins that is ideal for surface cleaning and can deal with lots of hair too.

On the other hand, BISSELL is cheaper. It might not be having the PowerFins technology but uses a pretty good brushroll for agitating dirt off carpet and handling pet and human hair. Might not be as powerful as the Shark but is significantly cheaper.

The Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe does not have the newest cleaning technology, but has lots of power and can be used on carpets. Also, for that price, you get a sealed filtration system which is very rare in this price range. The downside is you have to clean behind the roller from time to time since the brushroll is standard.

If you have to deal with lots of hair, there are cleaners that resist hair tangles and are ideal for pet owners.

The Shark Apex Zero-M (AZ1002) is one of two cleaners in a lineup that has a great anti-tangle system however is not as good compared to the Vertex which is more expensive. The combination of a soft roller with Zero-M technology makes it almost a winner in this category.

The Duoclean makes it ideal for all surfaces. With all that power, a sealed filtration system, and an amazing brushroll system, the Apex is a good buy if you have to deal with lots of hair.

The vacuum that deep-cleans now cleans itself with the Self-Cleaning brushroll, which is engineered for more pet hair pickup with no hair wrap. Also, this model has DuoClean technology.

Anti-Allergen Complete Seal gives the chance to work with a HEPA filter to trap dust and allergens inside the vacuum cleaner.

Multi-Surface cleaning means that you can fingertip controls allow you to easily switch from Hard Floor to Carpet mode.

BISSELL

The tangle-free brushroll eliminates hair wrap. In tandem with edge-to-edge technology, the cleaner is good at cleaning corners and edges. The downside of the roller's design is the belt located almost in the middle of it. It has a blind spot leaving some areas untouched so you have to cover the same zone twice.

The cleaner has a sealed filtration system.

The difference

The Shark is more powerful and has a bigger dustbin. On top of that, the DuoClean is one of the best to deal with debris pick-up of any size.

On the other hand, the BISSELL is $100 cheaper which is significant if you don't want to break a budget. The cleaner has a self-cleaning brushroll that can compete with the more expensive Shark and is on par in terms of deep carpet clean.

To sum up

In terms of resisting hair tangles, both are equally the same. Even on carpet, either Shark or BISSELL do about the same job. The Shark is better at picking up any size of debris but at dealing with hair, both are evenly the same.

Since BISSELL does not produce steam mops and Shark does not do wet dry vacuums, let's talk about the best in each category.

The TurboClean uses a new style brushroll which distinguishes it from other models in the lineup.

The BISSELL's TurboClean has a brushroll similar to what the premium machines use. Previously BISSELL used a different kind of roller that was not that easy to clean. Two tanks technology separates clean and wasted water, the self-cleaning button flashes water onto the roller to wash it off after a cleaning cycle.

The TurboClean also does a surface vacuuming so can be used on thin carpets.

Water and cleaning detergent dispense on the floor automatically.
