Chinese manufacturer Cubot has a brand new budget smartphone on the way, called the Cubot X18 Plus, and the OEM sent us one early so we could give readers an in-depth look before it launches sometime in March. As its name might imply, the handset is actually the larger, more capable older sibling to Cubot’s X18. Of course, it doesn’t necessarily bear too much resemblance to that other device, most notably lacking a bezel-free folded edge display. However, it does pack a significant boost to specifications and screen size. Take a look at this amazing bezel-less 5.99inches screen.
The X18 Plus is also very comfortable in the hand, with a premium build, snappy user experience, and serious value in terms of pricing. This is a handset well worth a look for anybody in the market for a new smartphone, with very few caveats and no real deal-breakers, who doesn’t want to spend the cash to buy one of the many top-of-the-line Android smartphones currently available for hundreds of dollars more.

What does CUBOT X18 Plus look like
The 5.99-inch display in 18:9 format with a 2160×1080 resolution is definitely one of the highlights of the CUBOT X18 Plus. The tiny bezels that surround all over the screen make this device one of the better-looking phones in this price range. At the back you will find rear dual-camera and fingerprint sensor. The metal that surrounding the cameras and fingerprint sensor add the premium feel. The phone has smooth curves you've probably seen in the most expensive devices. At its dimensions of 158.5x73.6x8.5 mm, its weight is only 178 grams which is impressive for a 5.99″ smartphone. The backside is made of quality plastic having a metal frame on the sides. On the right side the on/off and volume buttons sit. On the left there is the combined slot for two SIM cards (or a SIM and a microSD card up to 256GB). On the bottom the smartphone houses speakers and the micro USB port. On the top CUBOT X18 Plus features a headset jack.
It equipped with a dual rear camera system with the 2.0MP + 20.0MP shooter and a 13MP selfie snapper.
CUBOT X18 Plus uses the Heilo P10 (MTK6750T) 8-Core Media Tech processor that is clocked at 1.51GHz.
The smartphone equipped with Android 8 Oreo. The UI runs very smooth and without any lags.
The 4000mAH battery lasts up to 6 hours when playing full-HD video on YouTube.
