The Bissell ICONpet performs great at picking up debris on all three power settings and there is not much of a difference between the modes. Though heavy parts like sand are a so-so issue for the vacuum, it needs two passes to pick up all the send.
The main unit is a bit lighter than its competitors and is easier to carry because of the design of main unit.
The biggest thing about this model - its ability to reduce hair tangles. During the hair test, the Bissell showed great results by not wrapping hair around the head, something other vacuums can't do.
The Bissell has a really great filtration system. Although it's not HEPA, it is very close to HEPA and what most important, it is a true sealed system.
The vacuum gives you 55 minutes of vacuuming on low power and up to 18 minutes on high power which is a pretty good amount for this price range.
The Bissell is not the most powerful machine on the market but it does a great job on carpets and hard floors, also the best at handling pet hair. It is an ideal cleaner for those who have a mixed surface or if you need a powerful vacuum for quick cleanups. Mostly, the ICONpet is ideal for pet hair and bare flooring.
|Vacuum type||stick vacuum|
|Bin capacity (ml)||400|
|Floor type||hard floor;
|Battery charge time (min)||240|
|Maximum runtime (min)||30|
To conclude: The Bissell ICONpet is a decent vacuum cleaner with long battery life, good pickup ability, and hair reducing. It might not be as powerful as some models exist but it does show great cleaning performance on both carpet and hard floor and would be perfect for average homes with pets and a mixed surface.
